Who We Be: The Urbz

If you’ve heard The , I’m sure your face was scrunched with confusion trying to figure out who is that and what are they doing? Well, wait no more. Here’s the inside scoop:

The URBZ or the Urban Legendz are 6th Sense and Byron B. Their sound is big, organic and intertwines music from all genres from gritty hip-hop to electro jazz to dark pop. Often thought of as mysterious, The URBZ have embraced that as their signature sound because they never know what may come up with next as they’re vibing in the studio.

What once was just a conversation has turned into FIRST CONTACT, one of three upcoming EPs. After Spring's URBZ FIRST CONTACT, the other two are: URBZ FIFITH ELEMENT and URBZ DISTRICT 9 (2013) that lead to their 2013 album PLANET OF THE URBZ. These EPs showcase their songwriting and production skills that tap into and hook their audience.URBZ FIRST CONTACT serves as the introduction of the Urban Legendz’s, Byron B. and 6th Sense, artistic value to the world. With URBZ LYFE, listeners will feel what it means to be an urban legend and define the URBZ LYFE brand, which is the first of a three part EP series. You want to know what’s to come and/or what to expect from 6th Sense and Byron B., this is where you will find it.


The URBZ driving force is their communities and the people that love them so their music will always have their heart in it.
